A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Mansfield and other areas of Richland County around 8 p.m. Monday night.
Severe storms are rolling into Northeast Ohio and are expected to have the most impact between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Rain and wind gusts of 50 mph or more are expected to hit the area, with the greatest impact in Ashland and Mansfield.
Widely scattered storms are expected to continue after midnight. There could be some thunder and rain showers in the morning, affecting the morning commute.
