Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Cuyahoga, Summit counties

CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cuyahoga County and northeastern Summit County until 3:45 p.m.

At 2:55 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over North Royalton, 11 miles south of Cleveland, moving northeast at 20 mph, according to the NWS.

Possible hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

Locations impacted include:

Cleveland, Parma, Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, North Royalton, Solon, Twinsburg, Warrensville Heights, Macedonia, South Russell, Highland Hills, Garfield Heights, Shaker Heights, Maple Heights, South Euclid, Parma Heights, Broadview Heights, Brook Park and Mayfield Heights.
