UPDATE: The National Weather Service Severe Thunderstorm Warning's for multiple counties across Northeast Ohio have expired.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for multiple counties across Northeast Ohio.

Chief Meteorologist Mark Johnson gives a live update on the storms below:

A warning is in effect until 6 p.m. for Erie and Huron counties.

A warning is in effect until 6:30 p.m. for Ashland, Richland and Crawford counties.

A warning is in effect until 6:45 p.m. for Lorain and Cuyahoga counties.

Strong wind gusts are expected.

The NWS advises that you should move to an interior room on the lowest floor of the building you are in.
