Severe weather leaves thousands without power in Northeast Ohio

CLEVELAND — Over 20,000 FirstEnergy customers in Ohio have been left without power following severe weather and strong winds.

More than 3,000 customers in Cuyahoga County, more than 1,000 customers in Portage County, nearly 4,000 customers in Stark County and more than 4,000 customers in Summit County have all been left without power.

FirstEnergy said severe weather caused the outages and restoration times will be announced when the information becomes available.
