CLEVELAND — Thick fog has developed for a few areas the morning, causing reduced visibility for the morning commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement warning drivers of heavy fog.

Areas affected include Lorain, Cleveland, Norwalk, Medina, Bucyrus, Mansfield, Ashland, Marion and Mount Gilead.

Areas of fog are forming along a frontal boundary that continues to drift southeast.

As winds shift to a northern direction, visibility will decrease.

Keep an eye out for changing conditions, and adjust your driving to allow some extra space between vehicles.
