Thunderstorms bring heavy rain and lightning across NE Ohio on Labor Day

CLEVELAND — Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue across portions of Northeast Ohio through the morning on Labor Day.

Wind gusts are expected to reach near 30 mph.

A small craft advisory will be in effect Monday with waves between 2 to 4 inches likely.

It will be cooler north with temperatures in the mid-70s.

A few showers linger early Tuesday but we clear up in the afternoon. Temperatures just back up to the mid to upper 80s.
