Wind Advisory issued for parts of Northeast Ohio Sunday

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Sunday in several counties in Northeast Ohio.

The Wind Advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the following areas:

  • Medina, Richland, and Ashland counties.

It’s in effect from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the following areas:

  • Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties.

The Wind Advisory is in effect for Erie County from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It's also in effect for Tuscarawas and Carroll counties form 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wind gusts could reach speeds to 55 mph.

Strong winds could impact unsecured outdoor items such as patio furniture and trash cans. The wind could also bring down tree limbs and power lines.
