With Lake Effect snow rolling and wind gusts of up to 30 mph, additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches is possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The winter weather caused slippery roads Thursday morning, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 involving at least 10 vehicles, while another crash on Interstate 77 occurred involving 18 to 20 vehicle, police said.
