CLEVELAND — A wintry mix during the morning commute Monday could cause slick road conditions for motorists.

With temperatures in the morning near the upper 30s, there’s a concern as icicles and other frozen spots thaw out.

The final push of rain and snow is clearing out of Erie and Huron counties this morning with Lorain, Richland and Ashland counties drying out closer to 5 a.m.

Medina, Cuyahoga and Wayne counties should dry out by 7 a.m.

Temperatures finally rebound back above freezing most of the week, with Monday as the exception.

The curveball Mother Nature is throwing at us Monday is that the high this morning at 38 degrees won’t last long as temperatures plunge back to near freezing.
