CLEVELAND — Cleveland fire crews rescued an 18-year-old woman from Mill Creek early Thursday morning after she jumped from a bridge near Mill Creek Falls.
A Cleveland Metroparks officer found the woman in the area of Mill Creek Falls just after midnight. Cleveland firefighters then set up ropes off the Warner Road Bridge and used a basket to pull her to safety.
The rescue took crews nearly two hours to complete. The 18-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
