Crocs and Peeps have collaborated to create the ultimate Easter egg-hunting shoes. Drawing inspiration from the brightly colored iconic candy, the limited-edition Peeps x Crocs clogs are coated with a “sugar-like texture” that makes them look a lot like the sweet marshmallow treats. But to really take them to the next level, the Crocs also come adorned with 3D Jibbitz charms that are shaped just like the Peeps Marshmallow Chicks. (No, they’re not edible!)

The adult-sized Peeps x Crocs sold out on Crocs’ website pretty quickly, but we spotted the brightly colored adult shoes on the Rack Room Shoes site in a variety of sizes, available in blue, pink and yellow for $49.99.

The yellow kids’ shoes are still available on the Crocs site for $39.99. And you can also try to track down the shoes in-store at Crocs retailers. (Good practice for any upcoming egg hunts, right?)

The collaboration makes perfect sense to us. When it comes to both Peeps and Crocs, people either love ’em or loathe ’em. Our own poll of 2,800 Simplemost readers found that 38% hate Peeps! And the clunky clogs have been described by Wall Street Journal sports columnist Jason Gay as “cargo shorts for the feet.” Yet the classic clogs remain best-sellers on Amazon.

While this may be Crocs’ first time partnering with a candy brand, the casual footwear company has teamed up with other brands in the past for some zany and fashion-forward clogs.

Earlier this year, Crocs earlier partnered with Kentucky Fried Chicken for a themed shoe that included chicken-scented drumstick jibbitz charms. The shoe was red and white. Its muse? A KFC bucket.

And in 2017, during Paris Fashion Week, Crocs and high-end designer Balenciaga came together to create a pink platform Croc fit for the runway.

Are you hoping that a pair of Peeps Crocs shows up in your Easter basket this year?
