It's another summer weekend in Northeast Ohio celebrating food, music, and art. News 5 provided a list of events that should be on your list of 'Things to Do.'

1. 2017 Lebanese Food and Music Festival

If you're looking for authentic Lebanese food, there's no place quite like the Lebanese Food and Music Festival. Authentic hummus, kibbeh and traditional middle eastern sweets, if you save room for dessert. Traditional Dabke, a dance that combines circle dancing and line dancing, is a highlight of the festival. 

When: Saturday, July 8 (12-10 p.m.) Sunday, July 9 (12-8 p.m.)

Where: 2300 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma

2. 40th Annual Cain Park Arts Festival

A notable festival in Cleveland attracts artists from Ohio and surrounding states to showcase their art. Everything from hand blown glass to handmade furniture will be available. Aside from art, musical acts will perform on Friday and Saturday.

When: Friday, July 7 through Sunday, July 9

  • Friday 3:00-8:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday 10:00 a.m-8:00 p.m
  • Sunday 12:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Friday: Wine Tasting for  $10, 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Where: Cain Park |14591 Superior Rd, Cleveland Heights

3. Farm Fest: Ribs, Brew and Music

Live music, ribs, beer and wine, corn hole, fishing and live animals will be part of this festival. New additions this year are wine from Chalet Debonne and beer from Double Wing Brewery. Admission is free!

When: Friday, July 7 (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and Saturday, July 8 (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

Where: Lake Metroparks Farmpark | 8800 Euclid Chardon Rd, Kirtland, Ohio

4. 4th Annual Lavender Festival and Art in the Garden

Imagine fields of all different types of lavender. This festival is exactly that and more. Crafting involving the aromatic lavender—from lavender wreaths to lavender wands— is a highlight of this festival. McCune Family Apiaries will give advice on how to start beekeeping at home. Gary Gifford and the Perry Library Ukulele Club will satisfy the ears with music throughout the weekend.

When: Saturday, July 8 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Sunday, July 9 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

5. Lakewood Summer Meltdown

If you want to go to a street party this summer, this is one you shouldn't miss. Last year brought nearly 10,000 people to the streets of Lakewood.

Highlights:

  • Meltdown Street Festival 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Beer garden from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Front Porch Lights live music 7 p.m.

When: Saturday, July 8 (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.)

Where: Downtown Lakewood | Detroit Avenue and St. Charles Avenue
