General Hospital was again pre-empted by another drama playing out on the floor of the U.S. Senate.
The ABC daytime soap opera did not air as scheduled on News 5 at 2 p.m. Wednesday due to ABC News coverage of the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
Tuesday’s episode, which was also pre-empted by impeachment coverage, was scheduled to air Wednesday instead.
The show’s producers said on Twitter that they will monitor news coverage and provide updates on their social media channels as soon as they know when new episodes will return.

The turf war in Port Charles will have to wait, but those seeking to catch up on previous episodes can watch them online with a cable or satellite subscription here.
