CLEVELAND — Did someone say tacos and beer... together? In the latest partnership between two Cleveland businesses, La Plaza Taqueria is bringing street tacos to Terrestrial Brewing Company in Cleveland's Detroit Shoreway neighborhood.

Located at 7524 Father Frascati in Battery Park, the dog-friendly brewery has been known to host regular pop-ups and partnerships with other local businesses throughout the year, such as doggy brunches and events that have a philanthropic element to them, like ones that benefit the Cleveland Zoological Society.

"We've worked with many amazing food vendors in the past and decided we wanted to find one that could provide daily service and amazing food, said owner and co-founder Ryan Bennett. "La Plaza has such a great reputation in Cleveland that we knew they were someone we wanted to work with. Once we had them at the brewery for a mini pop-up last summer (and the response was insane), we knew at that point we needed to figure out if a partnership was possible Luckily for us, it was!"

While sipping cold beers on a spacious dog-friendly patio with a view of downtown Cleveland, you can now enjoy a match made in heaven: tacos and locally-produced craft beer.

La Taqueria will be the brewery's main food vendor starting on April 26, which happens to be the brewery's two-year anniversary weekend. There will be special beer releases, a glass giveaway, music all day and, of course, tacos, according to Bennett.

"We are very appreciative of all the food vendors that have helped us to this point. So much so, that we still plan on working with Any Thyme Any Plate for our Doggy Brunches and possibly more," said Bennett. "They really do a great job and their food is always unique and amazing. It fits perfectly with our Doggy Brunch and people have come to expect it. We didn't want to mess with that!"

Those with special diet restrictions are not forgotten. There will be vegan and veggie options available. To start, there will be tacos, quesadillas, empanadas, nachos and chips with salsa and guacamole.

Guests will order at the bar, receive some sort of marker and the food will be taken to the customers.

"The goal is for us to provide somewhat of a dining experience instead of just a vendor experience. We are targeting seven days a week as of now too. We are already working with the La Plaza team regarding future specials, deals, events, etc," said Bennett.
