CLEVELAND — The Cleveland APL Pet of the Week is a 3-year-old boy named Jeremy who has quickly become a volunteer favorite.

Unfortunately, Jeremy has been passed over by people adopting new four-legged family members and has spent the last four months at the shelter.

“This sweet young dog has been in the shelter for 4 months, and no one can figure out why he is being over-looked! He is 3 years old, up-to-date on all vaccines, and a great play mate,” the APL said.

Jeremy loves playing with toys, people and other dogs.

“Those soulful puppy dog eyes will get you to mute yourself on your Zoom Meeting so you can toss a toy for him or give him some pets. He gets excited to see you and never gets tired of being your sidekick. Jeremy loves to wrestle with other dogs in playgroup and would make a great companion for another young, energetic dog. He loves going for walks with his volunteer buddies and he often bring a toy with him,” the APL said.

Jeremy does need some obedience training, but he is very “treat-motivated” and is a quick study, the APL said.

This boy needs a new home and a fresh start. CLICK HERE for more information on how to adopt Jeremy.
