CLEVELAND — The Cleveland APL Pet of the Weekend is a 3-year-old pit bull mix named Janet.
Janet has been with the APL since October.
“When Janet came in to us, she was very scared and would tremble when people approached her. But that didn't last long, and she grew to be a social, energetic girl who makes a great running partner and loves to play with toys,” the APL said. “Janet would do wonderfully with an active family who can keep her busy, but one that also would be able to give her time to adjust in her new home if she needs time to settle in yet another new environment.”
Janet likes to play with other dogs and loves treats. The APL said it thinks Janet may have a hearing impairment so “her new family should be willing to work on hand signal training as needed.”
