A 3-year-old child is injured after being hit by a car on Cleveland's east side. The small child was struck near the intersection of East 140th Street and Kinsman Road.
Cleveland police say the driver took off from that scene in Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. Emergency responders rushed the 3-year-old to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.
Right now, police have not released any description of the car or the driver that was involved in Friday's crash.
