23-year-old man dies after shooting on Glendale Avenue in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in Cleveland’s Lee-Miles neighborhood on Monday night, according to a report from Cleveland police.

Police responded at around 10:49 p.m. to the 17100 block of Glendale Avenue for a shooting.

Police said an 18-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. He was taken by EMS to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Investigators learned that a 23-year-old victim, later identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as Dayshawn Noman, of Cleveland, was taken by private vehicle to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he died, according to the police report.

The condition of the 18-year-old is unknown at this time.

At the scene, police learned that both victims were outside with a group of people when an unknown vehicle drove up and unknown males fire shots at the group before fleeing in the vehicle.

No arrests have been made.
