AKRON, Ohio — A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in West Akron Wednesday night, according to a news release from the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The 28-year-old victim was getting out of his vehicle at around 9:00 p.m. in the 700 block of Valdes Avenue when he was shot multiple times by an unknown person.
The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General where he later died from his injuries at 11:40 p.m.
The medical examiner’s office will give an update once positive identification has been made.
