AKRON, Ohio — Three schools buses became stuck Tuesday morning on icy roads —making it the third time they have been stuck on streets because of weather issues since Jan. 23.
A spokesperson for the Akron School District said three buses were stuck on icy roads. The district used their own tow trucks to free the buses.
The first time the school buses became stuck on residential streets was following a weekend snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow in Akron—causing some streets to become undriveable. Twelve buses became stuck while picking up students from school.
The following day, eight more buses became stuckon streets.
