Akron man sentenced in teen's heroin death

An Akron man who pleaded guilty to dealing drugs to an 18-year-old woman was sentenced on Tuesday in the girl's death.

James Foreman, 20, of Homestead Street in Akron, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter as well as trafficking in heroin.

On Dec. 26 of last year, Krista Barker bought heroin from Foreman. Police found her dead of a heroin overdose in a friend's basement later that day. 

Foreman was sentenced to serve a mandatory four years in prison.
