AKRON, Ohio — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Akron Monday night, according to the Akron Police Department and the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
On Monday at around 7:00 p.m., police said the 24-year-old victim was in the area of the 1000 block of Rosemary Boulevard when he was shot multiple times.
He was transported to Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries at around 7:51 p.m.
Officers also found a 39-year-old woman who was grazed by a stray bullet. She declined medical treatment.
Bystanders told police they saw the alleged shooter in a dark colored vehicle shooting at the victim as he was riding a 4-wheeler.
Authorities said once positive identification is made and next-of-kin is notified, an update will be provided.
