Akron police are looking for a man who allegedly stole items from a grocery store and then fought off security.
According to police, the man tried to steal items from the Acme store on East Avenue around 5 p.m. on Jan. 15.
Surveillance video shows the man taking food items off shelves and hiding them in his clothes.
Video from outside the store shows him fighting off security.
The man is described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 35. He was about 5-foot 7-inches tall and weighed between 190 and 200 pounds.
He was wearing a gray colored hoodie, a tan shirt and pants, a black hat and dark shoes.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 330-375-2490.
