AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Public School District confirmed that the safety director has been placed on administrative leave.
The district said it will not release any additional information about why Alan Jones was placed on leave.
According to News 5's media partners at the Akron Beacon Journal, Jones was allegedly involved in a dispute with a district employee and her union representative.
