Crack, firearms, marijuana found at Canton bar operating illegal liquor sales

CANTON, Ohio — Canton police executed a search warrant Sunday on a local bar that was operating as an after hours liquor establishment without a license and arrested three people on unrelated charges, according to a news release from the Canton Police Department.

During a search warrant executed by Canton police at The 4th Quarter Bar, 1649 Harrison Avenue Southwest, at around 3:20 a.m., there were approximately 70 people inside the bar.

Police said the bar has been the source of many criminal complaints by residents in the area over the last several weeks, according to the release.

Police found seven firearms, crack cocaine and marijuana along with evidence that indicated illegal gambling and liquor sales.

The following three people were arrested on unrelated charges:

  • Christan L. Daniels was arrested for domestic violence ( M-1) and criminal damaging (M-1) charges out of Massillon Municipal Court.
  • Stanley B. Calhoun was arrested for an obstructing official business (F-5) charge out of Stark County Common Pleas Court.
  • Alexus B. Ross Giles was arrested for theft (F-5) and petty theft (M-1) charges out of Stark County Common Pleas Court.
