A reward is being offered by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for information leading to the capture of fugitive Lorenzo Finsley.
Authorities said Finsley is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Akron police for two counts of rape, aggravated burglary, sexual battery, assault, and aggravated menacing.
According to officials, on June 7 Finsley allegedly broke into a victim's home and raped her while her child was in the house. During the assault, the victim was able to break free and grab a knife for protection. Finsley then grabbed the child to shield himself from the knife. He then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Finsley, 29, was described by authorities as a black man standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He had brown hair and brown eyes. Police believed Finsley may be hiding somewhere in Akron. He had a previous address near the 400 block of Flora Avenue.
