Akron police are investigating after hot dogs, candy and equipment were stolen from a youth baseball concession stand over the weekend.
Officers were called to the Kenmore Youth Baseball concession stand on Battles Avenue just before noon on Saturday for a report of a break in.
A volunteer told police that several locks on the south side door were damaged. The volunteer said hotdogs, hamburgers, candy and baseball equipment had been stolen.
Police say this is the second time in a little over a month that this stand was broken into.
NewsChannel 5 talked to the President of Kenmore Youth Baseball, Bob Crum. He said the league is out about $3,000 after the two break-ins.
"It costs money to run a league. It really does...we are trying to keep our costs down, but we may have to raise them to justify all of our losses," Crum said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Akron police at 330-375-2552.
