A man who was remembering the life of a friend who died in 2012 was shot at an Akron cemetery Wednesday night.
According to police, the 28-year-old man was with a group honoring the life of his friend Jeffere Blackmon, who died in a car accident, when he was shot in the left leg.
He was taken to Akron General Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Another man was punched in the mouth.
The suspect is described as a black man who was 25 to 35 years old.
