Man turns himself in for death of 20-year-old found shot inside Akron apartment

AKRON, Ohio — A 20-year-old man has been arrested for the death of a 20-year-old man found shot to death inside his apartment, along with a female resident who was injured on Oct. 22, Akron police said in an update Monday.

Terrian Wray, 20, surrendered to police Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Wray is accused of fatally shooting Dee Arius Reese, 20, and injuring a 24-year-old woman, both of whom were found by police inside an apartment in the 1200 block of McMillan Circle in Akron.

The 24-year-old female victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her foot. She was transported to Summa Health Akron City Hospital.

Wray is charged with murder and felonious assault. He was transported to the Summit County Jail.
