Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing the ashes of an Akron employee's late father.
According to Akron police, a man broke into an office in the 100 block of South High Street around noon on Sept. 22.
Among the items he stole were a credit card, a ruby ring, and the cremated remains of one employee's father.
The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 40 and 45 years old. He was wearing a black baseball hat with "choir" written on the front, black jeans, a backpack and headphones.
