CANTON, Ohio — A Canton man was sentenced to eight years in prison for sexually abusing a young relative, according to New 5's media partners at the Canton Repository.
Brandon Jackson, 25, was found guilty of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition.
After his is released from prison, Jackson must register as a child sex offender for his lifetime.
Jackson sexually abused the young child in 2018, according to court records filed in the case by the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office. The victim contracted a sexually transmitted disease from the defendant, court records said.
