Akron Family Dollar broken into, diapers heisted

The Family Dollar on North Arlington Street was broken into and robbed on Sunday, police reported. 

Around 5 a.m. on Sunday, the discount store, located at 19 N. Arlington St., had its front door broken out with a piece of concrete by an unknown suspect, police said. The suspect then took diapers and other miscellaneous items before he fled. 

The suspect was described by police as a white man, between the ages of 20-30, wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a yellow Adidas emblem on the front, and blue jeans.
