Truck used to deliver food to the community stolen from the Akron Dream Center

AKRON, Ohio — A truck used to pick-up food and deliver it to those in need was stolen in Akron sometime after 5 p.m. Monday.

According to police, an unknown person took the van from the business parking lot between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Akron Dream Center said it uses the truck to deliver food to the community as well as to haul its block party equipment.

The organization said anyone who has seen this van is asked to contact them through their website or by calling 330-400-4452.
