CLEVELAND — Two people were shot inside a car that crashed into a building in Cleveland's Mount Pleasant neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
Cleveland police responded to the corner of Union Avenue and East 118th Street for a crash.
The car sustained extensive damage after it crashed into the building.
Police said the first victim, a 26-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he died.
The second victim, a 38-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds, was also taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center for his injuries.
A portion of Union Avenue from East 117th Street and East 120th Street was closed as investigators processed the crime scene.
No arrests have been made.
Authorities said a white or light-colored vehicle was seen leaving the scene.
The homicide unit is investigating the deadly shooting.
