A 25-year-old man is dead after officers found him lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound Tuesday night.
Officers responded to East 99th Street just after 11 p.m. to find Mister Jackson, 25, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was unresponsive.
EMS transported Jackson to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses said Jackson was leaving a residence in the area when gunshots were heard.
Cleveland police are investigating the shooting.
