CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a homicide after a 29-year-old man was shot and killed in the city’s Glenville neighborhood last Sunday.
On Sept. 27, officers were called to the area of East 104th Street and Columbia Avenue for a report that a man had been shot, police said.
Once on scene, officers found the 29-year-old man and used their first aid kits to administer aid until EMS arrived. The man was transported to University Hospitals for treatment where he died the next day, according to police.
Officers learned on scene that the man was walking outside when he was shot by an unknown person. Witnesses told police they had seen several men flee the area on foot, police said.
Members of the homicide unit have since taken over the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
