CLEVELAND — Three people were cited after Metroparks police and the Cleveland Police Department broke up a fight at Edgewater Park on Monday night.

At about 9 p.m., several individuals were involved in an altercation at Edgewater Park, according to Jacqueline Gerling, Director of Communications for Cleveland Metroparks.

Metroparks and Cleveland police broke up the group, Gerling said.

Cleveland Metroparks closed Edgewater Park and several other Metroparks Monday afternoon to vehicle traffic, but the parks remained open to foot traffic on Memorial Day.
