Police are investigating a crash that killed a 30-year-old woman on an exit ramp off Interstate 90 overnight.
According to Cleveland police, the woman was driving a 2010 Mercedes C300 on the exit ramp to East 72nd Street just after midnight when she lost control of her car.
The car went off the left side of the road, up into a grass embankment and then hit a tree.
The woman—identified as Brandy Harrell of Cleveland—was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said she was driving in excess of the suggested speed limit of 35 mph when she crashed. Alcohol is suspected.
