CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man was shot and killed late Tuesday night on Cleveland’s East Side.
The shooting happened around 11:50 p.m. near East 102nd Street and Parkview Avenue in the city’s Woodland Hills neighborhood.
According to police, responding officers found the man lying on the ground in the 10100 block of Parkview Avenue. The man, later identified as Jovan Wells, 32, of Cleveland, was pronounced dead at the scene. A gun was found nearby.
Prior to the incident, police said they received calls for shots fired near East 102nd Street and Manor Avenue.
Police said they were unable to find any witnesses.
