CLEVELAND — An advisory for Edgewater Beach has been lifted after sewage overflowed into the lake on Tuesday.
All of the tests for E. coli in the lake came back good and the water quality was deemed okay.
While these overflows happened 40 to 50 times a year back in the 1970s, the Sewer District’s improvements to aging infrastructure has caused overflow discharges to decease significantly.
