CLEVELAND — Two people were taken to the hospital early Saturday morning following a police chase that ended with a crash in Cleveland.
According to East Cleveland police, the vehicle fled from a traffic stop, but eventually crashed at a residence in the 18,000 block of Euclid Avenue.
The driver, who appeared intoxicated, said she fled because her passenger had a warrant, according to police. The driver's license was also found to be under suspension.
The home wasn’t damaged in the crash, authorities said.
Both occupants were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
The driver, who has not been named, was cited for eight violations, authorities said.
