Until Wednesday at the earliest, 67R buses will replace Green Line trains due to a sink hole, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority announced on Saturday.
According to GCRTA Media Relations Manager Jerry Masek, the sinkhole is located under the tracks on Green Road just east of Warrensville Center Road.
Masek said RTA was doing maintenance on the line Saturday when a 4x4-foot hole opened up and a portion of a piece of heavy construction equipment fell inside.
Buses will be used to carry passengers along the route between Shaker Square and Green Road while the tracks are repaired, Masek said. The earliest estimate for repair completion is Wednesday.
