California chef charged for allegedly groping women on flight to Cleveland

An executive chef from California was arrested this week for allegedly groping two women on an American Airlines flight to Cleveland.

It happened Tuesday on American Airlines flight 1713 from Charlotte, N.C. to Cleveland.

According to court documents, 58-year-old Gregory Carroll was seated between two women when he grabbed the thigh of the woman on his left and touched the private area of the woman on his right.

Carroll was charged with gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony.

According to Carroll's twitter account, he is an executive chef for Blackstone Corp. in California.

American Airlines sent the following statement to News 5: 

American Airlines requested law enforcement meet flight 1713 due to a disruption on the aircraft. Law enforcement met the aircraft upon arrival at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
