CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Fire wished their oldest retiree a happy birthday as he turned 100 years old.
Captain Emmett Duffy celebrated his 100th birthday on Saturday and shared his story on Cleveland Fire’s Facebook page.
Duffy joined the department in 1946 after spending four years in the Navy, serving in World War II.
Cleveland Fire gifted Duffy with a special jacket and hat, which he seemed thrilled to receive.
