CLEVELAND — The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center is holding a vow renewal ceremony for veterans and their spouses on Valentine’s Day.

The couples are all Cleveland VA Medical Center patients and most are inpatients in the Community Living Center’s long-term care or the hospice units, according to the medical center.

A reception for the couples and their guests will take place immediately following the ceremony.

Each couple renewing their vows will have individualized wedding cakes along with refreshments for their guests, the Cleveland VA Medical Center said.

The veterans come from various service branches, backgrounds and faiths.

The ceremony will take place in the medical center’s main chapel on Feb. 14 at 1:30 p.m.

The Vow Renewal Ceremony is one of many events and activities set to take place during National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, which begins on Feb. 10.
