CLEVELAND — A driver was transported to University Hospitals after they veered into the oncoming lane of traffic and hit an RTA bus head-on in Cleveland Thursday night.

The accident was reported at about 6:15 p.m., confirmed an RTA spokesperson. The bus was heading east on St. Clair Avenue near East 33rd Street.

The car veered left of center and made contact with the bus, which was stopped because the bus driver saw the car coming, the RTA spokesperson said.

The condition of the car’s driver is unknown.
