Cleveland police said the driver lost control and hit a tree at a high rate of speed. The out of control car then hit a utility pole knocking it down and then the parked car. After hitting the parked car the speeding car came to rest on its roof about 100 feet from where it crashed into the tree.

At some point during the violent crash, the engine was torn out of the car and left sitting in the middle of the street.
