A Cleveland father and son are facing a slew of charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man near Edgewater Park earlier this month.
Richard Rodriguez Sr., 49, and Richard Rodriguez Jr., 20, both of Desmond Avenue, Cleveland, were charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and having weapons under disability.

Around 2:43 a.m. on June 5, authorities responded to the 1270 block of West 91st Street. When police arrived they found a man yelling from an upstairs window. Officers entered the home and located the man inside a bedroom with a gunshot wound.
The man, identified as Steven Heading, 39, of Cleveland, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center and later died from his injury.
Both suspects were arrested on June 14 and are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
