CLEVELAND — If you’ve been looking for a reason to get your out-of-town friends and family to visit Cleveland, a special deal this month might be the excuse you need.
Destination Cleveland is teaming up with Frontier Airlines to offer a flash sale for people who book their flights to come to Cleveland during “Visit Me in CLE” weekend, June 21 to 23, according to a news release from the visitor’s bureau. The sale lasts from June 6 to June 12.
To take advantage of the 20% off nonstop roundtrips to and from Cleveland, use the promo code VISITME, the release states. The flights must be purchased between June 6 and June 12, and are valid only for travel between June 19 and June 24. Seats are limits, and terms and conditions apply.
“Visit Me in CLE” weekend is devoted to reconnecting Cleveland-area residents with their out-of-town friends and family, and is an effort to change perceptions about the city, according to Destination Cleveland. Events that weekend include the Burning River Festival, the Cleveland Yoga Fest, the 2019 U.S. Soccer CONCACAF Gold Cup, and much more. Local vendors and attractions will also have discounts and special offers.
