A man accused of stabbing his wife to death in a Cleveland home had his bond set at $1 million on Monday.

Cleveland Police said Henry Ashley showed up to the 4th District Police Station and claimed he stabbed his wife after they had an argument the night of Sept. 17.
When police arrived at the scene of the home in the 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on Friday, they found a woman unresponsive on the living room floor with what appeared to be stab wounds to her body.
She was later identified as 50-year-old Francis Ashley, of Cleveland.
Henry Ashley, who was charged with aggravated murder, according to court documents, did not enter a plea on Monday.

His prior offenses include aggravated assault and domestic violence, and according to prosecutors, he was on probation in East Cleveland court for domestic violence.
